Frequently Asked Questions

I don’t offer quick reviews or free surface-level feedback, and here’s why: Resumes are not one-size-fits-all. What works for a marketing manager won’t work for a software engineer, and what gets attention in healthcare might flop in tech. Every role, industry, and career path has unique expectations and your resume needs to reflect that if you want results. As a Career Coach and Resume Writer, my job is to help you actually get interviews — not just point out a few tweaks and send you on your way. I take time to fully understand your background, goals, and target market, then I do the editing myself (no outsourcing, no templates). It’s strategic, personalized, and built for real success, not guesswork.

57% of hiring managers are no longer hiring candidates that use AI on their resumes. 4 out of 5 hiring managers view AI generated resumes and cover letters negatively according to a survey done by CVG in 2024. This is one of MANY reasons people are getting rejected. Recruiters are noticing. I have revised so many resumes done by AI. I know it seems easier, but it is adding 40% more time to your job search in today's market.

Career coaches focus on guiding individuals through their career development, helping them identify strengths, set goals, and navigate job searches, often providing personalized strategies and support for interviews and networking. In contrast, resume writers sole purpose is to craft effective resumes that highlight a candidate's skills and experiences in a way that captures the attention of recruiters and applicant tracking systems. You may need a career coach if you're feeling lost in your career path or need help with job search strategies, while a resume writer is essential if you aren't lost, know what ONE job title you are focused on seeking.

I'm proud to share that over 72% of my clients have successfully secured remote positions. That said, I cannot promise anyone a specific work environment, as it wouldn’t be fair to you nor would it be fair for me to guarantee that 100%. Companies are also shifting back to in-office setups due to current market trends BUT I do believe that landing a remote role is certainly achievable. If you’re interested, we can tailor our strategy to prioritize those opportunities together. Also please know that whether you choose to work with me or someone else, I encourage you to be cautious of anyone claiming they can guarantee a remote position or create a "remote/work-from-home resume." As a former recruiter, I can promise you that working from home is not a skill, and it's not something recruiters will search for on a resume or within their search for a candidate period. So please be very careful.

Yes and as a Recruiter I know what exactly we need to do to avoid that discrimination. Majority of my clients have situations just like you who and have significant gaps in their experience. It's all about our strategy and I will walk you through that!

Yes, I’ve helped tons of clients pivot successfully, even when they had no idea how to connect the dots. You don’t need more experience. You need better framing. I’ll help you reposition your background, highlight transferable skills, and rewrite your resume and LinkedIn to reflect where you’re going-not just where you’ve been. You’ll walk away with tools that make you feel confident pitching yourself for roles you once felt unqualified for. That’s what I do.

No—and that’s on purpose. I don’t spam job boards or apply to roles for you because that’s not how people get hired anymore. You’re not paying me to chase ghosts—you’re hiring me to build a job search strategy that works. I teach you how to apply with intention, reach the right people, and stop wasting time on dead-end applications. You’ll have a plan, support, and actual results - not confusion.
