My Story — And Why I Fight For Job Seekers


Hi friend! I’m Chelsea. Career Coach, Resume Writer, and former Recruiter who has had a front-row seat to how broken hiring really is. After six years behind the scenes of hiring, I saw how the system was never built for people like us. Brilliant, qualified candidates ....  especially those underestimated, neurodivergent, overqualified, or with a “different” background — were being rejected for reasons that had nothing to do with skill. And I couldn’t unsee it.

I do what I do because there’s no reason anyone should have to suffer just to earn a living. Having a job impacts every aspect of your life — your health, relationships, and your future. And watching companies mistreat employees while hoarding profits lit a fire in me.

I created Next-Level Career Mentors because you deserve more than survival. You deserve a career that excites you, respects you, and pays you — without shrinking yourself to get there or facing unnecessary barriers that make the playing field uneven.
